Vent Over Tea: Need to get something off your chest? Vent Over Tea is here to help. It is a free active listening service that provides you undivided attention without any judgment or reaction. They are here simply to listen to you. (currently operating on Skype or phone call)
Campus Resources
Student Wellness HubThe McGill Student Wellness Hub provides physical and mental health services. Their team includes doctors (general practitioners), nurses, psychiatrists, counsellors, social workers, and dietitians, as well as health promotion and outreach staff. Some examples of services you can receive include: care for anxiety and depression, diagnosis of mental illnesses, prescription renewals, STI testing, information and guidance for dietary choices, and referrals.
The Hub is open Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4pm.
Urgent Care: Drop-ins (same-day appointments) begin being processed at 8 a.m. Please go in person to the Wellness Hub on the third floor of the Brown Building, 3600 McTavish. Students can check into the kiosk beginning at 7 a.m.
Meet with a Professional: Whether you’re looking for care related to mental or physical health, you can book an appointment with a professional by calling 514-398-6017 (Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 3 pm), or by visiting the Hub in person (Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm).
